Coronado High School Location

Coronado High School has been the heart of its community for over 40 years. At 2501 North 74th Street in historic Scottsdale it is the largest component of an educational campus extending from the Sierra Vista Academy at the corner of Oak and Miller, to Virginia Avenue and 74th Street.

Coronado is near the Barker Center of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale, the extraordinary El Dorado Park and newly-renovated Aquatic Center, and the Coronado Golf Course. It is just one-half mile from the new ASU/Scottsdale Center for New Technology and Innovation.

A bond issue passed in the fall of '04 that will provide funds for a nearly-total rebuilding of the school. Construction has begun. Come see the progress!  And,  yes, indeed, the splendid mural by Joseph Gatti and constructed by CHS students will be carefully removed from the existing auditorium and will grace the new Eugene Hanson auditorium.
