Fundraising - Coronado Foundation for the Future, Inc.

 

Coronado retains its reputation as a community of caring classmates and teachers. CFFF plans to acquaint alumni with Coronado's needs and build a strong alumni base of support - both financial and volunteer.  The November 3, 2006 FRIENDRAISER brought alumni

In 2005-2006, the Foundation raised $10,000 to match the generous grant from the Dorrance Foundation to support a variety of needs established by the Site Council and to fulfill grant applications from Coronado's faculty.

A Silent Auction at the Big Whopper Reunion in October-Classes '64, '65, and '66 kicked off the fund-raising efforts. 

Hot links on the Foundation website to local businesses and non-profit organizations, will bring in funds for programs and connect the larger community with 20,000+ Coronado alumni and high school events. Encourage your local businesses to sign up ASAP.

You can help immediately by:

  • Writing a check to Coronado Foundation for the Future, Inc. to support Coronado's needs.
  • If you are an Arizona resident filing jointly, get an immediate tax credit of up to $400 by writing a check to Coronado High School and including the Photography program,  Prevention Program for Students In Crisis, or Campus-wide Tutoring in the memo line.
  • Buy a CFFF Flying Saucers publicity poster with the Robert McCall "Argosy" image. Available signed by the artist for $150 or unsigned for $25.
  • Buy the DVD of the Big Whopper Reunion to commemorate the event. Produced by Robert Swierski and initially underwritten by Rebecca Drizigacker Barnebey proceeds go to the Foundation. $10.00  Contact treasurer@corfound.org
More time than money?  Volunteer to be a Faculty Aide at Coronado or volunteer to help the Foundation with alumni connections, development, photography, public relations or web site.
