Roy Coppinger Baseball complex dedication

Coppinger field has been dedicated. Many fellow Dons and sports fans attended the dedication Monday May 19. The Scottsdale Unified School board voted to approve the naming of the new Coronado high school baseball complex after Roy Coppinger. A new score board to  honor the man who while coaching the Don's from 1961 to 1989 lead them to winning three state titles is now on the field. Roy Coppinger also won placement in the Arizona State University, National High School Coaches, Arizona High School Baseball Coaches' Association, and City of Scottsdale halls of fame.
